Honestly, if your bike is water tight (up to the seat) and you can go slow in the boat I would just lash a 55 gallon drum to each side of the bike for extra floatation and pull it behind the boat. With a series of straps permenantly mounted to the drums and rigged with carabiner clips it should be a realitively quick setup/takedown.

We took an old 1986 yamaha moto 4 350 2wd fourwheeler and made it an 8 wheeler. made dual tire adapters and had duals up front and in the rear. It was a bitch to steer but would float itself and would make good shooting lanes in the marsh. We used this before we bought the amphibious six wheeler.

Nope. Possible he may have ended up with our old four wheeler though. I don't know what we did with that thing.

Before we moved to Gheens the guy across the street had a bike like you described and he was friends with they Joey (wrecker service) from Gheens. That's how they moved it through town.

I have some friends that bring a fourwheeler to the lease in dularge. I am not sure how they get it in the boat, but it is not a 650. They have a set of aluminum tires that they put on the bike to make their runs. The bike actually floats with the alum. tires on it.
