I'm not even old yet and I feel that way.

I have about 2 acres right now, which is plenty for what i need. If i ever increase that, it will be for 100+ acres that i could hunt on.
I see no point in have ~10 acres. Just more to take care of, but not enough to really do much. IMHO

Cities are too crowded, people werent meant to live like that.

I live in the sticks and drive to BR for work. It's a 66 mile commute each way but I actually enjoy it. It's a peaceful ride. It's worth when I get home and can enjoy myself. I wish I would have done it sooner.

Live in the sticks and drive to work. I commute 60 miles to work each day. But I have a 7 acre place. I paid the same amount for those 7 acres total as I would have paid for a 0.20 acre lot in a subdivision with neighbors 7 feet away.

Kids and their activities will make you want to be close to where the activities occur.

I recommend everyone move to the city.
More room for me in the sticks.

No....I work shift. About 14 days a month.

I grew up in a fairly rural suburb but live in the city now. I just couldn't stand spending 2-3 hrs per day in traffic. I would absolutely live in a small town or on the side of a mountain if I no longer had to work.

I live pretty far out (for Memphis) but am still in a neighborhood. Have a great house and really love the neighborhood but would move in a heartbeat if I could. As long as the kids are in the school system we will likely stay put.

I went from 4 to 1 acre and both are in the sticks. I have small children and there's nothing like watching your kids run wild outside in the country for me. Work is 1 Hr south and the camp is 40 min north. If I had my way we'd live in the middle of the woods and I'd drive 2 hrs to work no problems. Unfortunately, my wife does not feel the same...

There has never been any question for me. I'm rural, always have been. I make my living in the country and raise my kids here too.

Live in the woods, commute to BR. I commute about 110 miles round trip five days a week. Wouldn't have it any other way.

Live in the city. Have a rural lake house for the weekends.
I'm lucky enough to work from home several days out of the week. I'm not sure I would want a 60 minute commute every day. Feels like I already barely get to see my kid in the afternoons after work already. I want to be around as much as possible while he still wants me around.
