Does anyone have experience with, or purchased, leveling kit for f150 4x4? Any recommendations? Prices? Did you have to get the front end realigned? Did your gas mileage suffer?

2.5" for perfect level. 35x12.5 if you have stock 18" wheels. Not sure what fits with 20s...I know some people have rubbing issues.
Stick with a light A/T and you shouldn't lose too much MPG

I have a 2" leveling kit on my 2014 f150 fx4 and it sits perfectly level. The 2.5" puts em a tad nose high but a bigger block will fix that. I have a 1/4" difference from the front to rear so it's not noticable. I have a 2"hbs spacer and it was 70$. I'm putting a 275/65/20 which is a 34.2 by 11. A 35x12.50 doesn't rub with the 20s according to a few friends trucks. Papa pogey has a level and 35s as well check the all terrain tire thread for pics

I'll help you out since I spent countless hours looking at all my options last year before I did mine.
this guy
I have a 2.5" Rough Country on my 13 that was free to me, but only cost around $80 brand new. They're basically all the same, but you need to decide on poly or metal/aluminum. PLENTY of people out there making quality stuff but I would take a look at F150lifts.com. They're a newer company specializing in the F series platform and make some really nice products and stand behind them 100%. The kit w/o the shocks is a little more expensive than my RC, but still cheap in the grand scheme of things. I see a bunch of guys running AutoSpring with no issues. That being said, I've put ~18k on my leveling kit and haven't had a single problem with the kit or any of my suspension/steering components.
see above, but you should be paying more than $200 for a leveling kit unless you buy new shocks with it---I didnt.
Yes. I had read differing opinions on this, but decided to be pro active and not reactive when it comes to a nice truck I spend a lot of time in. So yes, I would highly suggest it.
not until I slapped some 35''s on it
If you're mechanically inclined, save yourself a couple hundo and attempt it yourself. You'll run into some stubborn spots like with any mechanic work, but its pretty straight forward and isn't hard to do if you have the right tools and an extra hand. I installed mine in the driveway with a buddy and its as solid as it gets.

Ive put on several, 2 chevy/GMCs(08/09) and 2 F150s(14) and while all the truck were aligned afterwards, there wasnt anything that needed to be done adjustment wise.
Price, you're gonna pay between $75 and $200 depending on brand, style etc.
No gas mileage issues except for 2 of them but both of those had tires upgraded to bigger 33/34's. The other two stayed the same.

Thanks all! It has stock 20"s on it and that's what I'm sticking with. I just want it to sit level

The same reason people buy anything, because they like it and get enjoyment out of it Pretty obvious answer

If you doing it for work it one thing, but if you are doing it to show it stupid. Trucks are made to be used, not to show off that you can go over a speed bump. If you want something to go off road go get a Four wheeler or a pink Can Am.

Because a truck that sits higher in the back looks stupid.
Posted on 6/1/15 at 6:52 pm to Jack Daniel
It also looks stupid when you tow a boat with your front end in the air.

I have 5100's on mine. Second highest setting in the front and the front sits like a quarter inch lower than the back I think.
ETA: ride got a lot better. Gas mileage is gonna suffer with tires no matter what you do.

Well, I use my truck, but not to tow a boat. So rest easy hoghead, you won't have to see my truck with the front end in the air! Now F off if you don't have anything useful to add.

I got the f150lifts.com coilovers. Rides stiffer but not a bad stiffer. No clue on the inches of lift added cause it's adjustable.

Hey man, I came to give advice to not do it. The more you change from factory, the greater the chance its going to leave you on the side of the road. And that the Gods truth.
