KVD had def turned alot of people on to crankbaits. Myself included. I always have rods rigged with a brush hog, or speed crawl texas rigged and one with sexy shad crank bait. All damn year.

I'll usually just use a gamakatsu weighted hook and try to match the forage

Are you really swimming it, or working it like a sluggo/Senko/Fluke?

I've always swam it with a steady retrieve, there are different things I will do with a fluke including using different kinds of weighted hooks if I want a different presentation, one being a flying fluke(which was taught to me by a guide on Toledo bend)

Without a doubt the best time of the year to fish. It's the only reason I have a radio in my boat so I can listen to the LSU games.

Blue/Chartreuse spinnerbaits and light colored swim jigs were deadly last year.
