Back yard is looking terrible with upcoming weeds. What should I be using this time of the year to intercept the forest of weeds in a month? TIA.

There may be some useful info in this thread from last year Lawn care

I'm not sure when you are supposed to apply, but after reading that thread last year I got some weed b gone and it was legit. Killed all the clovers I had.

You can download a Scotts Lawn Care App on your phone, and tell them location, type of grass, size of yard, and they will give you directions on how much and when to apply certain seeds.

I put down Halt Crabgrass Preventer in January, says I need to do GrubEx next, and then TurfBuilder. Also tells you the condition the yard needs to be in before applying, and what to do after applying.

I like it pretty well for a novice such as myself.

Bayer broadleaf (24d) concentrate works really well. Dont buy the hose mounted applicator. Get a bottle and mix it yourself.

I usually spot spray now to get the clovers and dandelions before the bees show up. The rest gets burned off with weed and feed in March.
