In. Appears to be a small front pushing. Hopefully a few birds will show up. fishing rods packed if not.

Work hunt with clients in Winnie Friday, hoping for 10 so my pup will have 60 retrieves for Teal season.

Headed to the camp in venice since we weren't able to make it the first two weekends. Hopefully hammer hasn't shot them all. Me and my two kids from kayaks. Hopefully the birds are in their normal spots since we won't be able to do much scouting.

LSUengr, I'm hoping to be there Sat evening and Sunday! I have tried to give them hell but I think it's been the other way around this year!!
Either way the current plan it to try and take the 6 and 4 yo on their first hunt Sunday I have my fingers crossed! There aren't a ton of teal but the ones that are there are in typical areas. Call or e-mail if you need some info/help.

Thanks. Have fun with the kids. My two were that age when we first brought them 5 years ago. Now my 11 year old son shoots better than me most days! My 12 year old daughter finally came around this year once her paw paw let her shoot his Super Vinci. Don't know if he will get to shoot with it this year...

That is awesome man, I just pray my kids will love it one day! So far not a lot of interest but of course there is still time!

Hope the birds showed up for someone. We left early due to no birds downriver in venice. Me and kids did not fire a shot Friday afternoon and only killed 2 this morning. Guys down the canal had 5 hunters and killed 4 birds.

Talked to biologists doing bag checks. Said baptiste Collette area was holding plenty. Hope ya'll get on them tomorrow.
