Are there any good spots to fish from bank or pier? Thinking of taking my son for a day trip there.

Really no good spots man. You can fish the pier and maybe pull up a hand full of pirch.

The north landing has a pretty big pier you can fish from. Not many good bank fishing spots. I guess you could hike over to the dam with your poles.

I just went there this past weekend. There is a pier on the south side, but I didn't see anyone catching fish.
You can rent canoes, but get there early as they go fast.
