Any OB'ers fish bistineau? I'm headed up there next weekend to do some cookin and drinkin, and was thinkin I might even try to fish a little. I'll be stayin at the state park. Anybody got any advice on where to start? What to use? What to focus on? Any help is much appreciated.

Good luck! Fished there last night and it kicked my arse. To hell with that Salvinia infested shite hole.

so.... is it even worth haulin my boat up there? Its a little over 3 hours from home. Was already figurin the cookin and drinkin would take up most of the weekend anyway.

I have spent the last 4 weekends at my camp that is fairly close to the state park. Caught one bass and that was it. Never fished real hard but the salvinia is getting pretty thick around parts of the lake. That said, we could still get to some open areas where we skied and swam. I probably wouldn't haul my boat three hours to bistineau right now but definitely would in the spring.
