I'd greatly appreciate it if someone could point me to where LINK hides their regulations & other info on slat traps. I'm going to build a set and want to make sure I'm doing it per all the regs.
TIA
TIA

I'm not sure where they are. I build mine with 1 1/2" gaps on the sides. I believe the law says they can be no smaller than 1". There's also places you can't use them so you might want to look into that as well.

per LWF site

or square in cross section configuration, constructed of slats forming the length of
the trap, with at least one pair of slats spaced at least 1 inch apart from each other on at
least three sides of the trap and which is no more than 6 feet in length, 2 feet in diameter
or width and which has one or more cone-shaped throats, flues or entrances
