re: Hopedale questions... - dragboatscott
Absolutely. I used to fish all the way out to lake Eugene in a 14' flat with a 40. You shouldn't have trouble finding redfin out there. I usually fish between stump lagoon and lake Eugene and always find redfish. Trout are different animal back there though. ...

re: Reputable Wooden Fence Installer - Covington Area - dragboatscott
I never build them with less than 3. I just did an estimate for a big repair on a "reputable" fence builders fence yesterday, only had 2 perlings and they were nailed to the posts. Damn thing wasn't that old and was falling down. If you do it yourself please use 3 2x4x16 perlings and 3 1/2" screw...

re: Reputable Wooden Fence Installer - Covington Area - dragboatscott
Scott Renovations. I do them often and the other poster is right. Easy to do yourself and if you look around in the covington/mandeville area prices are going to start around $15 per foot. I normally do them for $14...

re: LA Slat Trap Regulations- Where are they? - dragboatscott
I'm not sure where they are. I build mine with 1 1/2" gaps on the sides. I believe the law says they can be no smaller than 1". There's also places you can't use them so you might want to look into that as well....

re: Rage Hypodermic Broadhead Reviews - dragboatscott
I can't speak for the hypodermic but I've been shooting the old rage titanium 2 blades for years. I just put new blades and go. I've killed dozens of deer and hogs with the same 3 broadheads. I looked at the hypodermic but I really don't like the blade angle when deployed. I don't think it's swept b...

Pheasant in Louisiana? - dragboatscott
I'm doing some work in the middle of Tangipahoa parish, not TOO far from covey rise and I keep hearing what I think are pheasants down the hill from where I'm working. I've never known of a population of wild pheasant in this area. Does covey rise have those, maybe some escapees? I think wickowick ...

re: Who has problem with neighboring landowners shooting small deer - dragboatscott
I live there and the mindset on deer hunting terrible in my opinion. I stopped hunting there a long time ago.I really the Wildlife and Fisheries would install some sort of antler restrictions. I know that's not popular with everyone, especially with the brown it's down crew....

re: 1998 Tacoma brake booster - mechanic advice needed - dragboatscott
If you do have to change it, they're not normally that hard to change. I've never changed one on that model vehicle but it's pretty straightforward. Probably two nuts to remove the master cylinder and 2 more for the booster, which might be on the inside firewall?...

re: 1998 Tacoma brake booster - mechanic advice needed - dragboatscott
Sounds like it could be the booster but check for for vacuum leaks on the line to the booster before you change it or any vacuum leak for that matter. Vacuum is where the assist comes from....

re: Mercury 60 carbs - dragboatscott
Daryl sells carbs and a modified intake, those parts alone make a huge difference in power. The cylinders are so big for a 40 and the way the port map lays out the motor has no issues handling the extra air and fuel, only a timing adjustment is needed....

re: Mercury 60 carbs - dragboatscott
Don't know Danny. Just know of him. Hate to hear about the bad experience. I have known Daryl and done business with him on those 40 mercury parts for several years and haven't had any problems....
