re: Rage Hypodermic Broadhead Reviews - dragboatscott
I can't speak for the hypodermic but I've been shooting the old rage titanium 2 blades for years. I just put new blades and go. I've killed dozens of deer and hogs with the same 3 broadheads. I looked at the hypodermic but I really don't like the blade angle when deployed. I don't think it's swept b...

Pheasant in Louisiana? - dragboatscott
I'm doing some work in the middle of Tangipahoa parish, not TOO far from covey rise and I keep hearing what I think are pheasants down the hill from where I'm working. I've never known of a population of wild pheasant in this area. Does covey rise have those, maybe some escapees? I think wickowick ...

re: Who has problem with neighboring landowners shooting small deer - dragboatscott
I live there and the mindset on deer hunting terrible in my opinion. I stopped hunting there a long time ago.I really the Wildlife and Fisheries would install some sort of antler restrictions. I know that's not popular with everyone, especially with the brown it's down crew....

re: 1998 Tacoma brake booster - mechanic advice needed - dragboatscott
If you do have to change it, they're not normally that hard to change. I've never changed one on that model vehicle but it's pretty straightforward. Probably two nuts to remove the master cylinder and 2 more for the booster, which might be on the inside firewall?...

re: 1998 Tacoma brake booster - mechanic advice needed - dragboatscott
Sounds like it could be the booster but check for for vacuum leaks on the line to the booster before you change it or any vacuum leak for that matter. Vacuum is where the assist comes from....

re: Mercury 60 carbs - dragboatscott
Daryl sells carbs and a modified intake, those parts alone make a huge difference in power. The cylinders are so big for a 40 and the way the port map lays out the motor has no issues handling the extra air and fuel, only a timing adjustment is needed....

re: yamaha 25 prop - dragboatscott
That's nice to have available. Try em all! In my experience with the tempest, they would pull engine rpm down and lose speed, didn't drive very well either. The trophy drove like a champ and carried a load very well. I quit using thru hub props before the fury came out so I don't know much abo...

re: Reminder to wear PFD- accident on Pearl River shows why - dragboatscott
That's exactly where it happened. The drop is only about 1 foot right now and that's when it's the most dangerous. During normal water levels it's about 4 feet drop but the water is only about hip deep....
