In Mandeville.

I haven't read the handbook, so, I don't know the soliciting rules here. I was just trying to help him out.

People that start the thread trying to sell stuff is a big no no, but something like this when someone needs something and someone else can help is one of the things that makes this board so good...

I was under that impression, but not sure. Yep, boards can be awesome like that.*

*no pun intended

I've never sold wood on a forum, for clarity.

If ever in the area and would just like to take a look, let me know. You'd have to call me out here, though, as there is no private message option and I've forgot the email address I signed up with, I have some slabs of wood that are over 6 feet wide and 1000 years old (all from Costa Rica).

Again, not soliciting, but most people come by the shop just to look.

Just edited my post.

No, hardwoods from Costa Rica. All of my wood is from previously dead trees...no trees were harmed in the making.

Bumping this thread as I'm about to start a 84"x42" dining room table project and am looking for black walnut for the top...

Suggestions? Jenar Boy-how did your table come out? What did you use?
