Not a good idea imo. The older people at my camp always tell me not to but I would rather wear the orange and apparently see less deer than have some retard point towards a dark object and fire (my skin tone doesn't help at all)

I wear it to and from the stand when I go to my FILs place. No need for it sitting in a box.

Sounds kinda counterintuitive, but you may be right. I use the 1" "sticker dots" sold by Wal Mart and use them for my targets. I used to buy a pack that had 4 bright colors in it (green, yellow, orange and pink). Depending on how bright sun is, the yellow and green are useless beyond 25-50 yds. Orange works good at 100 yards, but pink is most visible. Now I buy the pack that has only pink ones. I'm sure there's a study out there somewhere about color and visibility, but I'm too lazy to look right now.
