I just don't think it will be enough of a difference from what I have now. I wanted to add a little height and some squishiness factor. The design of the seat area in my boat is going to limit what I can put there. I'd like what ever goes in there to be secure and not something I lift out ever time. More wasted internet time to come.

First longish trip in my yak(pic on previous page) and by the end, I was in 6-7/10 pain in my tail bone. I need something other than just the deer stand seat Mung is letting me borrow.

For me, lumbar makes all the difference in the world for comfort. Those stadium seats kill my back. Jackson has an inflatable lower back lumbar that is worth 3x it's weight in gold. I would addlumbar to mods for a seat.

Not had an issue with that yet. Just the deal where you feel discomfort, so you move and it becomes really bad pain. Right in the arse bone.

Can you show me an example? I've never had a laptop case.

If you watched this guys video and saw his styrofoam used for his outriggers, where would you recommend getting big styrofoam like that?

As far as seat, I bought a stadium seat and used a crap ton of industrial Velcro on the bottom. Works pretty darn good

good deal. Sorry never saw your last question, but the answer to it would be any crafts store. Hobby Lobby or a Michael's would have that heavy duty Styrofoam for pretty cheap

I'd love to use on of those, but I can't figure out how it would sit in there given the shape of my yak.

Solution found. A little reading revealed I needed empty space in the center of the seat so that the tailbone area is touching nothing. My temp. solution was to buy this thing from Acad that is basically a flat pool noodle but made of this stuff

Think of a cheaper, longer, thinner, no frills version of this,

I cut it in 4 sections and places two side by side on either side of my seat. Nothing under tailbone. No hint of pain.

I am going to permanently attach the pieces to one of those stadium pads. The pad has a handle that I can rig to my seat back base so it all stays in the yak.
