Just completed my CHP class and Online Permit App

now to go Tuesday and do the fingerprints then play the waiting game. anyone have any idea on wait time right now?

Did online application and sent finger prints off a week before thanksgiving. Got the notice Thursday that i was approved and should receive permit within a couple of weeks.

Less than a month ago, when prints were done at troopers headquarters in BR, turnaround time was less than 2 weeks

Anybody know if they can use TWIC or MMD fingerprints that are on file wit the Gov so you dont have to do get re-fingerprinted for the CCL ?
Ie, for TWIC, and MMD they do electronic fingerprinting, so they are already on file wit de Gov.

I am pretty sure you have to reprint. My understanding, when they do it at HQ it is electronic and speeds up the process a lot compared to paper prints

So now I just go Over to state police and do the fingerprints and just wait? Then they wil tell me when to pay?

Yes you pay like $12 for the fingerprints there at HQ. They send and email to pay the rest after you have been approved

Don't forget to sign fingerprints like a dummy I know did when he sent his form in the mail.
