Are they any goods?

Meh. I only use ground decoys
If you use kites/flyers/etc, and the geese aren't finishing, it's the first thing people pull from the spread

I mean I'm not saying don't use them but I don't think they "make" a spread.

Watched a 70 year old man shoot one of these down one time. I don't think he was impressed with it too much

I paid $3 for them and they are new.

If they'll float pretty close to the ground they may be good. In my experience those geese will watch closely and if what's flapping doesn't land they don't finish. Like a robo duck or whatever.

Quick story.
Some guys were hunting next to our property. Was driving by. saw their spread of 400ish decoys and actually thought they were geese. But they had up a few flyers and after a few seconds I knew that it was in fact a spread. Try that times 500 eyes for 10 minutes
but for $3 it doesn't hurt to try
