Is it odd to see a pregnant doe at this time of the year? I have a picture of a doe on trail camera and her belly is really poking out on both side. I seen here a few times on the trail cam.

Didn't see anything......skeered one on the way in...alot of coons on the corn.

Gotta go pull the sd cards check out whats up and start pouring the feed down. This is bullshite.

Squirrels like to drive be crazy, but all in all a very relaxing peaceful way to start the day. Wanted to doze off for awhile.

i would think a large amount of corn or grain which could cause gas, or she could have some type of infection..
has there been any food changes, dumping of grain, etc. in this area?

i ain't a vet, fah shore,,,, i guess it's possible she could be pregnant, but most should have dropped several months ago.. she would have had to get bred, out of the marginal normal time of late season breeding.... what part of the country you hunt in?

This is in Wilson, La.
I've put down some sweet feed from time to time. And used cattle cubes once this season, got rye grass growing. That's about it.

When I was a kid my dad killed a spike that was bloated like that. When we hauled off the carcass he sliced the stomach opened, it was all rye grass. Smelled like hell too.

Still on stand at tensas lottery hunt. Very few shots heard. I've not seen a deer. Are the deer not moving all over or what?
