I missed. Apparently I was so shook I just slung an arrow in the general direction of the deer.

Put this guy out his misery this morning, someone on the property next to us shot him in the jaw. Crazy thing is he came in and was eating some acorns. His body weight was way down he was skinny bad.

Did the luck of the starting of the IST run out? We use to get the person who started it on the board almost every time with a deer.

Sat in the stand until a little after 11, got on a hill over-looking a cutover and tried rattling. Still nothing. Went to town to get lunch and then back in a stand at 1:30

Killed a doe yesterday afternoon with my bow. A buddy invited me to hunt his hot spot on White River Refuge the week after Christmas so it's going to take a good one for me to use my last buck tag.
