Turkey hunt
Greensburg, LA
52 degrees, partly cloudy with 6 mph east wind
Mossy 835, jellyhead choke, 3” Remington premier #5
Homemade slate with plexiglass striker and a Lynch foolproof box
Currently sitting in a turkey chair on an intersection of logging roads. Heard one gobble six times far away earlier, I wait him out for another hour then move around from food plot to food plot until lunch. Good luck to all out this morning.

St. Tammany parish

Thunder chickens are thicker than bugs on a bumper. Been watching them on the farm for weeks.

Eating at Darlington grocery and thinking about heading to the house. Last gobble I heard was around 8 am.

I've had many a meal there. Nick is one bad mofo. I've seen him back down some of the natives that I would have never messed with. I think he's yakuza in hiding.

Hell of good turkey wings there.

Had 6 birds sound off. Went to the hot one, he pitched down across river. Gobbled twice after hitting ground and that was the last bird we heard all day aside from a lonely hen.
