Sitting on a 160 acre wheat field bordering CRP to the south and west.

Neighbors to the south sound like they're mud riding on the way to the stand. Really fricking up my universe... Their Ranger sounds like a piece of shite though. Sounds like it will only run in low gear. So I guess it could be worse. I could be that guy.

They call it hill country, I call it home
10 tripod on a cutover
Aught-six
Too warm
Too windy

Saw a yote behind my folks house this morning, but the sneaky bastard was positioned too close to my pops old truck. Deer were moving like crazy last night. Heard em this morning, but nothing ever showed. Hope all you cats have a happy and safe new year.

These guys are still going. They have 200 acres tops and it's taken 30 minutes for two people to get to their stands. I can't stand people that have inherited awesome deer hunting land, have all the outdoor toys, and don't know shite. If I had what they have I would have my mode of transportation fricking properly working when I showed up.

eta: yeah, I'm mad.

That line was from a randy rogers song. We have a bunch of hills & hollars on our place.

Still don't know what this is. I believe it's a country way of saying hollow, still don't know what it is.

There's a huge arse hollar directly to my left and the deer are moving in it, but none have stepped out for me.
