It was so early.. I was expecting to see a lot of movement.

Haven't seen shite since. Next legal deer I see, I'm killing it.

Yes.. And it works.

We looked at the camp for an hour yesterday for some doe piss and couldn't find any.

Going to the feed store at lunch to get some.

Climbing stand

.45-70. Deep in the woods on a nice deer hwy not far off a scrape line and a pile of corn. Quiet so far.

We really didn't see many, but me and my buddy were shooting very well (rare). Also, we always kill more drakes than hens. Not sometimes, always. Sucks the hunt is over after 10 mins though

Not a bird in the sky and couldn't see 20 yards. Killed these on the way back in. I had to shoot something.

Also got my trolling motor working great. Was flying.

Have the deer been moving? I am offshore right now and wont get back out to Monticello until the 11th. Some people in our club left Tuesday and came back Friday. They said the rut didnt start yet. I hope to be there when it hit full rut.

Not moving very much. The river is high due to a lot of rainfall last week, which has backed up the sloughs on our property. I saw much less sign this trip than last week. I am going back for an extended weekend next weekend, and a cold front is coming Tuesday of this week. I am hoping it turns on in the next week. Highs are 75 today through Monday, so I packed it in for NYE and going to return on Thursday.
