Itawamba County, MS. Trying to get a hunt in before it rains. On a funnel between two lakes. This spot is usually good for a doe. Killed a good buck here last year.
Summit viper SD and a Remington 700 .308.
Hunted it yesterday evening and didn't see shite. Wind is blowing my scent off in to one of the lakes.

Jumped two deer on the walk in that were bedded down in different spots.

Just had a 6pt almost climb in the shed with me. I left the bottle of tinks by the outside of the door. Instead of going to the rag 15 yds away he circles around where I can only hear him. I grab my bow and he comes within 6ft of me. Somehow sees me and bolts. This tinks got these dudes all riled up

Got 2 paid holidays for Christmas and 2 for new year. Only had to save 3 days (of my 18) vacation to have this whole week off.
They don't pay me shite but I get most of the rut off.
