Currently 60°, wind blowing, temp dropping quickly in central TX. It will be mid 30s in the morning. Hoping for movement.

It’s about 44 here. I’m trying to teach my 14 yo yo be more responsible
His beanie gloves and gaiter were out of his bag. I reminded him ti check his gear. He got out of truck I asked him to check if he had it all.
He said yes. He did not.
If his texts are any indication he is learning a lesson today.

Got rained on, and the Thermacell didn’t touch the mosquitoes. Had a big doe at 40 yards just before dark and then deer started coming out on the power line. Ended up holding off trying to see if one of the bucks I’ve got on camera would step out. Fog rolled in and that was a wrap, but we ate good.

camp life baw powers out, I’ll get a better pic of the bobcat, xenon wold be proud.
But yeah this place feels like 40% museum, 40% bed and breakfast and 20% trap house
