It’s weird not having to wear waders to get to these stands, but it’s nice.

My one and only weekend to rifle hunt. Climbed way up in this pine tree overlooking small pines with a big bottom behind me. Feels weird with no release on my wrist.

Good luck gents

Historically my favorite day to hunt this place. Usually see bucks cruising. Hoping for the same today.

Good luck, OB.

Just messed up. Killed a fat 8 point last Sunday. Been letting a young 8 walk. Thought it was him at 7:15 about 40 yards from the stand so I watched him for a couple minutes milling around- no binoculars in the bag since the eldest child apparently used them yesterday and didn't put them back and I didn't check. No big deal, I just put the scope on him to verify its the youngster. But it ain't. It was a much bigger 8 than the one I harvested Sunday. Big bastard slipped into the Roseaus before I could get the safety off. Talk about feel like a dumbass

Love a good heavy public land 10

I love my bow, but it’s nice being able to reach out and touch them sometimes

First time hunting this property this year. Food plot looks good and there was a little doe in it when I walked up.

Haven’t had any good bucks on camera over here all year but with the rut kicking off ya never know. There’s plenty of does to attract em.
