Sitting in a hardwood finger surrounded by pine thicket. Traditionally a good travel corridor.
Stuck a big pig yesterday at a different stand about 10 minutes before dark. 46 yard shot. Blood all over but I could still hear him (or another pig) making noise in the briars/pines. I’ll go look for him after this hunt.

Storms rolled through Fayette about 3AM. My camo was hanging out after yesterday’s hunt and got soaked

He was fairly dormant. I was crossing a drainage and when i started going up I saw him coiled under a tree. I hoped back out to the other side and shot him.
I think he was there last night and the cold front caught him out.

Nice kills. Was hoping to make an evening hunt but breaking down twice on the interstate trying to get to Prairieville to pick up a bull may have cost me too much time
