Good luck! I have a couple hunts in so far in the Dayton, OH area. I had 3 does walk about 20 yards behind me but they were in too thick of brush for an ethical shot. I'm hoping for better luck this weekend.

Rapides Parish
Warm
Perfect wind
Ladder stand on edge of bedding.

Seen 1 cross at 140 yards earlier.

Going to pull cards after this and make a game plan for next week after the cold front moves in.

P.S.A.
All you Baws heading to your camps today need to be stocking up on mosquito dope like its toilet paper in March of 2020. The mosquitoes are thick!!

W.Feliciana / Wilkinson Co line
Lock on between white oaks and cutover
Forgot my boots so I’m wearing my Dudes

You could drag me 20’ down in a lake and I could not get any wetter. This big magnolia I’m in was dumping buckets of water on me during the storm that just came through

West Feliciana - Back in same stand. 2 Doe and 6 pt earlier. Watching this weather and eating for a pig or deer to stroll in!

Oh Yea - for those wondering, mosquitoes are just as thick as they were this morning!

82* and the thermacell is keeping the mosquitos off of me.
Lock on, on the side of a Hickory tree
Not much moving yet besides a pretty grey fox
Hoyt slinging rage extremes. Or at least hoping to.

Port Gibson MS in the river bottom.
139 pound doe down this morning. Waiting on a buck or hog now. Skeeters will definitely let you know when your Thermo cell runs out of gas.

Killed a doe this evening in Union Parish. Just bought a new Iron Will K1 knife and was very impressed with it while skinning. If the rain holds off then I’m going squirrel hunting tomorrow morning with a couple of guys. We’re supposedly meeting up at 6am “rain or shine” but you know how that goes.

After the rain had a small buck cruise through and a doe with her fawn.

Big solid white sow and 5 young pigs came in. Clean pass through on the sow and she eased off slow and in pain. Smaller pigs came back to the corn and smoked one of them.
