53° with a 16-17mph wind out the west
Mathews Phase 4
Iron will 125’s

Hunted till about 8 this morning and couldn’t take the wind any longer. It was brutal. Got down and scouted around where I was and didn’t find much sign. Came to a different area and found some scrapes that hadn’t been worked since the rain, and some rubs.
Pulled my phone out around noon to send a text and a doe ran up on me, followed by a small buck. Went back to the truck, grabbed my bag, sticks and saddle and came set up where I saw those deer midday.
About 30’ up a cypress where 3 bottoms(dry) come together. Hoping a decent buck will get on the trail of that doe that came through earlier.
Good luck everyone that’s enduring this wind!

I'm not a fan of getting face fricked by cold 20mph winds all day either. I have killed some good deer on super windy days like today.
