If so, what's the best thing to do about them? I read they are pretty resilient from pesticide. Anyone with experience? My garden is infested with them.

If not a spider mite, any ideas? TIA

Could it be a potato aphid?

Not a spider mite or aphid. They will both be found on the underside of leaves. Aphids are very small and mites are even smaller. Not sure what it is though, almost looks like some type of nymph but hard to tell in the pic.

Well shite. I came to conclusion about being a mite. But I'm clueless

And I don't think it's a tick. I'm infested with them

I been seeing tons of those little bugers this year,, must be a bumper crop. Interested in what they are and do they harm anything?

It's definitely a mite. Looks to me like a Predatory Running Mite. Google says if you have an infestation then it's likely because there are smaller bugs nearby that they're feasting on. I'm too lazy to post a picture but google it.

I don't know what it is, but they are either eating your plants or feeding on something else that is feeding on your plants...I would douse the place with liquid sevin and be done with it.
