Is it too early to apply a weed and feed to my yard?

Clovers are out of control for some reason this year. Would it be too early to use weed and feed?

Weed then feed
But yes, too early
But yes, too early

It's 31* right now, in Denham. Far too early. Use some 2-4-D to get those clovers in check. Your neighbors will thank you.
I'm not putting down anything for at least another 3-4 weeks, depending on temp.

Weed now. Feed when it starts to green. The grass is dormant, so fertilizer isn't being used by the blades.

I assume the same could be said St. Augustine grass? That it's too early, too cold, etc

My question is about Atrazine vs. 24D.
If given the choice, which should be applied first?
Atrazine for it's pre emergent herbicide qualities, correct? Then 24D when you see broad leaves like Dandelions (which I already have) a few weeks later?

Atrazine is a pre and post emergence. Most people stack 2-4d And atrazine because the atrazine doesn't kill clover.

What is your recommended temp?
