Indoor/backyard flashlight choices

My mom has about 7 of those big arse 6V flashlights, none of which work right now. Those batteries are also a PITA to find, and are heavy to carry around. She also has a bunch of el cheapo AA and AAA flashlights that put out about a half a lumen.
I wanted to get her a decent one, either AA or rechargeable. She will be using it inside 90% of the time, and the other 10% will be in the backyard or outside doing something. She doesn't want a really small one or pen light, and a top clicker is preferred. With so many high power, low budget ones on the market now, I figured I'd ask the OB's opinion on the ones I am looking at.

I'd rather not get throw away Chinese ones with outdated bulbs

I've been very pleased with my basic streamlight. I have the small one, but my buddy just got the streamlight waypoint and that thing is really bad arse.

I have a streamlight pen light that is nice, but their bigger ones are very expensive

I figure those outdated bulbs will suffice. Just my .02.

And for the record, I've got 3 of them that I've had for 3+ years, and they're not in a trash can.

Ultrafire's off of Amazon. Yes Chinese made but are durable and bright and use rechargable LiONs.

O light is my favorite at the moment.

I have that nitecore and its crazy how bright it is for such a small light.
I would highly recommend.
I will say that the charge cord is a USB cord so to plug into the wall you will need a USB adapter like the iPhone has.
I also have a Nitecore EA20 or something that runs off of 4 AA batteries. It's a little bigger but very bright.

Is it more of a spot on all settings, or does it have a decent flood pattern?

I use Surefire or Streamlight, but keep one of these in the wife's car.
Coleman LED $20 from Walmart. You'd be surprised at how bright they are. Rated at 150 lumens.

What does this mean? Cree is not a bulb, it's LED, and I've had mine for 4 years with no issues.
You should just get your mom one of the ones that have a built in plug and are kept in an outlet.

Ended up getting the Jetbeam. She was worried about it losing charge when she needed it, but after looking around, I read that Lithium batteries barely lose any charge at all just sitting (only like 5% per year). There aren't many reviews online about it, so I really had nothing to go off of. Hopefully it turns out to be a good light

You've posted this before but it just has to be a joke that I don't get.
