88 degrees with a light breeze.

With my little man and my nephew.

Very few flying so far. Should pick up in a hour or so.

Little wick and I are on a field with JimJackandJose near Winnsboro. We are on a cut corn field.

Colfax. Have seen 3 doves. It's pouring it's arse off.The tri-tip was amazing.

Alexandria, on the city limits boundary. Cut corn field and white wings. Don’t know what happened to mourning doves? Thousands of birds, hundreds of hunters. Everybody limited out. Can’t beat opening day, now beer and football. Life is good!

Limited out around 5PM. We had alot of birds today-most everyone limited out

Cut corn and sunflowers. And I got to sit in the shade all day.

just hunted this morning, think we ended up with 400 something birds. Not as good as past yrs, but wind was blowin so hard birds were flying super low

Picked up some mojos today for hunting tomorrow. It’s gonna be slow going up here because all of our corn is still in. We don’t grow sunflowers or milo in Iowa either. Always hit or miss for doves.

I was also on a corn field near Winnsboro. A good many people showed up.....we may have been hunting the same spot

I shot 7 times and killed 3 this morning. Hunting in the woods since we weren't doing shite in the fields. It was fun as hell, just like a wood duck hunt. I let plenty pass that I didnt shoot because they would have fell in some bad shite
