So, with each front, I've had comings and goings. This last one really moved them out. I may have had 3 at the feeders this morning. May go ahead and shut it down.

Gah I am so jealous of all of ya'll with your multiple birds. Most I've ever had at my feeders has been 2 and it was for like...a week. Love photographing the little ones though, they're so fearless. Figured I'd share a photo of mine.

My numbers have been up and down with the passing of each northern front. Sun. had 10-12 birds @ a time. Today most I have seen is 3. During the heaviest traffic I was feeding between 100-120 birds a day based on sugar water consumed. It takes aprox. 100 birds to consume 32 ozs a day according to a humming bird calculator I found online.

We still had about a dozen yesterday evening but that's less than half of what we've had.

A few years ago we had a nest in front of my home office window. That was a great work killer.
