I have a few uncles, cousins, and grandfather that are wanting to take a family hunting trip next year for whitetail..fair chase..texas, Mississippi, Alabama, Arkansas. Any ideas or places anyone has been with good reviews..Not interested in paying to kill 180inch deer. Just looking for a place to share some laughs and hunt good land.

Giles Island

In all seriousness, you could probably find something decent in Arkansas. I'd love to go white tail hunting (the 4 legged variety ) in the Ozarks

Honestly, duck hunting is a lot more social because you can bullshite while hunting...have you considered guided duck hunt with someone who provides lodging?

I don't know how deep your pockets are but Ive went with family on a two separate occasions once to canada on a goose/duck trip and once to reel foot lake, TN. We killed a ton of crap on both trips and had an awesome time. For less money Reelfoot was awesome but it all depends on the river

deer and quail, Water Valley Lodge near Choctaw, Al. Just one evening hunt I saw over 50 deer. Good lodging and food, some of the better prices.

add: can shoot hogs too!
