Should of had a 9mm. With modern advancements in bullet technology 9mm is all you need.

Guy I know was attacked yesterday and airlifted to a hospital. Not sure how he's doing. Lots of attacks lately.

These are surprise attacks, usually from only a few yards away. You'd have to not only be proficient with a gun, but get off at least 4-5 shots to have a chance of killing it.
When used properly, bear spray does a better job.

I was just up by Flathead Lake and busted a Griz in the brush last weekend. Luckily that SOB went away from me instead of at me.

Handgun, 44mag. Most guides use .375 H&H or .338 Win Mag.

He didn't say a gun was better, he said he sprayed the bear and she still attacked him. If you wound the bear with your chicken shite pistol you are still going to get mauled.
