Climbers are nice if you have tall straight trees with few low limbs. Lock-on stands are a lot more versatile in that you can put them almost anywhere, but you will need to install or carry some sort of steps or ladder. Size and weight will also be a factor in either stand- go for a small, light, and quiet (straps rather than chains) stand if you are going to be moving around often.

I'm prepared for it. I've got a ton of land to bow hunt where gun hunting isn't a good idea due to subdivisions being close by. Figured a bow would be the way to get in there. Plenty nice deer there too.

Bow
rest

release
sight
arrows

And all of these so called 'accessories' are high dollar.

I went to buy a new release last year, damn thing was 70 bucks.

No poison. Just high explosives and shrapnel

Good for you man- go all in. It is worth the investment. Also, I like fixed blade broadheads. One less thing to go wrong.

All ya gotta do is screw one of these bad boys onto the end.

Anything with blades is for pussies.

I was thinking that black panther venom would work fine.
