Just killed this fricker tonight. There were about 15 of them that walked out. One big cluster of them. I was trying to shoot the sow and didn't even see this one right in front of her.

Eta: these are a few of the pics we've got on the camera.

As many of em as I've got on that camera, I think it's time to get a pen.

It's strange because we usually don't have a lot of hogs around us. But this year is a different story. I guess cause it's rained damn near all year. And yes, I will go out of my way to kill a hog.

Yeah we really do. Kinda torn between going to the game this weekend and going to sit on the stand to get a few more.

Put out an entire bag of corn away from the feeder. In the middle of the corn, place about 10 pounds of tannerite. When them come, blow them to bits.

Each piglet can get pregnant in 6 months so if one gives an average of 6 babies every 6 months, you cant kill or catch enough to damage the population.

I hate them too but what I hate even more is that I can't shoot them in the off season on the wma that I hunt. It's completely overrun with hogs and the wildlife and fisheries still won't let us shoot them outside of hunting season. I'm about to the point of getting a 22 mag rifle and going shoot them during squirrel season but that wastes my bow hunting. I saw about 3-4 while scouting the other day but of course, I couldn't carry a gun and shoot them. It's just stupid.

and wasting all that corn on em cuz they get to the feeder before the deer or run the deer off the corn to get the feeder, nasty MF'ers...

I think there is some push to classify them as a varmint or invasive species and allow hunting year round. I'm not a hunter, so don't know the logistics but a couple of friends were talking about this not too long ago.

There are not native hog species in North America, so all hogs are invasive, technically. And before anyone says it, javelinas are not actually hogs, they are Peccaries, same Order but diverge at Family.

I might be in the minority but i prefer the hogs to deer eating wise. Sure they don't have trophy antlers but hell my wife won't let me put any taxidermy in the house anyway. Might as well fill the freezer with something that requires hardly any processing.

You can always just stop feeding them corn They will never go away if they have a constant easy food source
