They'll sell em faster than they can build em.

It was only a matter of time. Some people are having a hard time spending sportfisher money and having less fishing space than a 36' center console.

For as wet as the 20-something footers are, I'm sure a 65 is a real treat. New outboard sizes and economy make this possible but I don't get the purpose.

Psa: if you haven't been to the Miami boat show, go. I've been a few times and it's amazing. 99% of the Blue faced two toned submariners ever produced will be there. The interior space is 6xs the super dome plus outside and an on-water section. It takes 2 full days to see most of it. Think of a big manufacturer like Fountain. They have at least one of every boat they make so it's take an hour to get through one display.

1800 gallon fuel capacity....Can you imagine dropping over $6k on fuel the next time you take your boat out?! I know it's all relative and the people buying these boats don't have to worry about money but damn. The weight of the fuel alone would make me want to drive around on no more than half a tank.

I think the biggest I would go would be the 53 footer. I would guess most of these things that are sold will just be for the sand bar.

Most people who are spending this kind of money like AC when they fish. How many people are you realistically going to fish at one time? I would assume this would be used for trolling for billfish and all the lines will be out the back anyway.
This isn't the rig your chumming pogies with. I don't know who their target market with this is but its bad arse and its fun to see something like this.

I guess you could fish out the back half and have the ladies laying out on the front half and still have a cabin for pants parties

Those oil princes love them some flashy boats. HS has a salesman dedicated to Middle East sales located in Dubai.

We ran the hourly cost at work one day with some wild assumptions and running the 53 is well over $1500/hr with quad 627's

The Stullers have one of the 53's.

Why doesn't someone come up with some badA inboard set ups for these? I don't understand a boat that big not being able to fish off the back? The beauty of a sportfisher is not having outboards off the back and having the AC/ Cabin.

I guess when you can get to the tuna grounds in 1/3 the time you don't need to stay overnight.

Yeah.

ETA Midnight Express is currently working on a 60' center console project. I have a feeling that may be one of many reasons that is driving the 65 form HS. They want to be able to stay at the helm of the largest outboard center console pissing contest.

What's the total HP hanging off the back of that thing? It'd be realllll tough to fit enough inboard in there to match it unless the engines were EPA exempt.

It's got an unlimited HP rating, so I'd guess Quint 627's is what they'll rig it with max depending on the beam.

I need to correct previous statement. I now understand its purpose.
