Had 6 5 does, 2 babies and a spike in the field this morning.

Nothing with horns.

Tempted...BIG TIME....but decided to pass again.

At home waiting for biscuits to be done and drinking coffee. Sure is nice to hunt 10 minutes away.

Wright, LA. Halfway between Gueydan and Kaplan. Saw more geese today than we did all last year. Nothing flying low except some lonely, young birds. I expect good things this year.

Limited out on specks by 645 this morning... birds worked really good compared to yesterday.. we actually had good cloud cover and wind this morning compared to yesterday....

Yesterday killed 5 specks and 2 dumb spoonies that flew over a dry field and came over the blind... looking really good for this season... we have probably 5000 birds living in fields just north our blind... hopefully they stay there all year...
