My father just got a new 2011 25 LTZ w/ 300 Yamaha from Cajun Outboards for right around 70K. FWIW the boat is extremely nice and is a great ride.

Hope I could help.

I'm not a big shearwater fan at all, my friend has one and I just don't see what makes it better. I find that pathfinders have much smoother and dryer rides

I absolutely love my 25LTZ, but find the 300 Verado not quite enough power believe it or not. Top end around 48 MPH. A little slow out the hole. But other than that, it's beautiful and turns heads everywhere....on the water, on the road, even at Gros' Marina in Stephensville! The rocker switches on the center console take a while to get used to. At first, I was constantly turning stuff on and not even reallizing it.

If your willing to spend that kind of money then go with this

yellowfin

Or you can save yourself a shite ton and get a blazer bay or pathfinder which are basically the same hull and the dryest ride on the water hands down.
