2- Boxer(female) and Yorkie(male)

Boxer is awesome, she is our hippie because she loves everyone. Only seen her mad once and I wouldnt mess with her. She's big though almost 80 lbs and has no idea that she is over 10 lbs.

The yorkie is an a-hole. Dude is tiny for a yorkie 7lbs and doesnt care. Got out once and chased a 45 lb poodle thing down the street. Hates everyone especially kids. Only really likes (tolerates) about 10 people, if youre not one of them, he'll probably bite you. As big of an a-hole he is, its awesome because he truly DGAF.

As far as change, when we went from just the Yorkie to geting the boxer. It was a big change, she has so much energy and when you think youve worn her out she take a 10 minute power nap and is ready to go again. Huge change.

I have three rescues, small medium & large
a bloodhound, a cur and a terrier mix

ages have a lot to do with the dynamic
young dogs take to each other pretty well, older dogs might be a little less likely to share

but like just about anything else all dogs are different
we've been lucky that we could just throw them together and they figured it out

what is important though is that you remain the alpha
three dogs that won't behave can be a nightmare

None at the moment but I have a deposit down on a pure bred bloodhound puppy. He is 4 weeks and should be ready to go by mid July. I can't wait. I am hoping he takes to the blood trailing better than my last dog.

I had a bloodhound too. Interesting dogs. He never would trail anything he was supposed to, but he was a lot of fun nonetheless. I could handle the slobber. I didn't like the eyes issues.

BM7133... you have 3 SA boerboels? Got any pics?? Always loved that breed.

For the OP.... i had 3 OEBs at once and loved 'em. Was exciting to walk 2 at time and even more exciting one night when some kids decided to jump the fence into my back yard

you don't own a bloodhound
he/she owns you

if you can deal with that, they are the finest companion you can have

Rye, the British, has a 6 ft standing high jump. I hope like hell that isn't his best talent. His tuition is eating my lunch...and dinner.

Male pyrs have a tendency to exhibit same sex dog agression later in life.
