I hate posting my birds on Instagram or Facebook and despise the ppl who do. We don't hunt to show off to other people that we hunt. Some people just try too hard to prove a point

Try talking to one of these arkansas baws about this shite, or for that matter NELA baws. They are proud of it like it's some kind of awesome ritual. fricking retards

This... Some of these people are just ridiculous. And then you got people from metro areas that are weekend warriors who are the worst.

I have to deal with a couple of groups that duck hunt a couple of the places we farm... These frickers start plugging drain pipes as soon as the combine or cotton picker is out of the field, and we go right behind them and destroy their weekends worth of work.

It's all good though. They get off on holding water, and I get off on how quickly I can get it drained.

We had this one group that stopped a pipe up with a deflated blow up mattress in mid September a few years back. It actually worked pretty well. Then they ran like a quarter of a mile worth of garden hose to a lake and tried to pump up about 20 acres with a 15 gallon per minute pump. Lucky for them, they got a great rain, but we had not gotten any field work done so I just took a shovel and broke their zip ties around the plug. I guess they just assumed their plug broke because they haven't done it again.

I wouldn't be surprised to see the AGFC go to a permit draw because of shite like this.

A little background...

On this WMA there were at one time permanent blinds. Because people were going to the blinds days before the season opened to hold them, the AGFC burned the blinds and went to the 4am rule. I believe there is a 40hp limit on this particular WMA.

Yeah, it would take about one day to fix it.

Jesus Christ, put numbers on the damn things, and build a few more and you fix all your problems.

Or people can just get killed.

28 on the opener, but seeing less each day. Bet we haven't see 50 big ducks over the last 3 hunts. Haven't tried timber yet. I avoid that shite too. Me and my old man are cozy sitting in this pit

I don't think a TV series that really isn't even about duck hunting would cause this shite show. But hate away if you must.

dropping duck stamp sales proves this is a myth.....

one problem facing duck hunting as a whole is many of the new people today are NOT being taught by anyone. They aren't growing up doing it. They buy their gear and are all of sudden hunters - this affects boating and other hunting equally as well.

Are you able to locate recent federal duck stamp sales data? All I can find is up to 2011.

And FWIW, 2014 in Arkansas saw the most state ducks stamps sold ever so it's not a universally declining sport, but long term averages are way down.

We hunted 2 pits a little North of you. 30 on Sat, mostly teal. 18 yesterday, mixed bag of teal, mallards, and pintail. We shot 10 mallards total this weekend. I had to work today and tomorrow so I came home. They hunted timber today and got on them. 5 limits of mallards

If that happened and I didn't go to jail or die I'd sell all my duck gear and never go again. That's retarded for a stupid duck.

Never failed that some yahoo would motor in on them right at daylight
