Like I said, they are otherwise nice people. I just don't think they realize how annoying the barking can be to other people... or maybe they just don't give a frick. I don't know... But they got the second dog for Christmas last year and it seems like that piece of shite hasn't shut up since.

Fill a spray bottle with vinegar, spray it in their face/snout when they bark. Works great!!! I did it to my neighbors dogs thru the fence. About 2 weeks and they quit barking....

I'd hate to have to resort to calling the authorities. I'd rather find a way to shut them up, hence the idea of one of those ultrasonic bark sensors.

I just washed my deck and haven't moved the power washer yet! I know I could roll the little one if I use the right tip!

This sounds like a great idea. Get a huge jar from a restaurant supply place, lob a bunch of large wads of the stuff over into the yard. The dogs get fat and lazy while being quiet.

yeah and every time they bark you throw more peanut butter, and then they learnt hat barking gets them peanut butter. That's exactly what he wants, more barking

generally a lot of people with those dogs think their dogs are not animals but little furry people in fur suits - hence the bringing them into the grocery etc....

heck someone in my neighborhood thinks leash laws only apply to dogs over 35 lbs...

I've got the same problem with my neighbors. It baffles me how these people are oblivious to their dark barking. I mean if I can here it when I'm inside my house I don't understand how it's not driving them crazy.

My ex lives in Lake Vista (the bird streets) and you've never seen so many feral cats in your life. The little parks and lanes are full of them.

My friend used the Sunbeam Sonic Egg. It works well within a certain range. If the dogs can get to a part of the yard out of range of the egg, they will bark. He used three to cover the neighbors's yard.

I too would like to find a nice electrical or ultrasonic bark stopping unit with remote control. Just have it pointed in the direction needed and when they see you - press, listen to whelping and scurrying......and every time they see you from then on, they run and hide.
