I don't really care what your opinion is. you have yours, i have mine. As a long time gun owner and hunter, i don't see the 'need' for assault type weapons. never have, never will, no matter what kind of arguement is made.

This.

Not learning about something and simply denying to give it a fair chance is simply ignorant. I understand you seem cemented in your opinion, but you should learn that "assault weapons" don't exist before you bash them.

You're simply saying "I'm choosing to stay ignorant." Congrats Joe.

EDIT: Also, who the frick are you?

Don't worry, Libs don't discriminate when it comes to banning guns. Your favorite 30-30 lever action will get the axe too (hi-cap hi-power). Lever Actions were the "Assault Weapon" of their day. Just ask the Indians, I guarantee you that Lever Action rifles have killed more people on "American Soil" than any AR ever has.

Just give 'em an inch on gun control and they will ban every firearm made with time.

PS...your principles suck wet arse.

A NY Newspaper publishes interactive map of all people with gun permits, this is yet ANOTHER cautionary tale on why gun registration is a bad idea.

How about a map with the addresses of all journalists? Or, names and addresses of felons convicted of gun crimes?

The people responsible for this should be sued, as should the government agencies responsible in providing access to the data.

That's why in spite of having completed the course and having all the paperwork in order and sitting in my filing cabinet, I have not, and will not be getting a CCL. Always knew as long as that data was there, it would be used.

Would love to see a map like that of all government employees. Or journalists. At the very least members of Congress.

Standard Bushmaster's (reg: $850) were selling for $3500-$4500. Basic magazines were selling for $80-$100 each.

I have my AR15 on gunbroker.com for 5600, buy-it-now for 6200

Precisely. Whether or not I "need" an assault rifle is irrelevant. It's the Bill of RIGHTS, not the bill of needs.

Joe, what about the Remington model 700? Browning BAR? Any Mauser actions? Are these "military actions"? What the 1911?

I have family that live in Westchester county NY. They legally own handguns. It makes me absolutely sick that the journal news would do this.

On the bright side almost every single comment has been bad mouthing this paper as well people should
