Windy as frick down here today. Didnt go offshore, but hammered the reds in the marsh. Ran down to the Gulf and it was 2-3s and muddy as shite right at the coast. Looks like it will be that way all weekend...

I was down at our camp Tues night and wednesday. It was windy - found some nice trout at last island wednesday morning even with all the wind.

Expect lots of disappointing fishing. Been down there all week. West wind howled last two days brought muddy river water with it. Islands,rigs,coastlines all muddied up. My guide buddies are preparing to soak crabs in the passes for three days. Doesn't that sound like fun.......

Yep, there will be a lot of crabs that skip the boiling pot this weekend and end up on a hook.

Just got back from cocodrie. The yahoos are out in full force. Caught about 40 or so this morning around last isle. Also saw a few working girls hanging out on a balcony at coco marina. Looked like they might be giving away some live crabs.

Neighbor said they wore the trout out Monday and Tuesday. 150 in the am and pm.
