What do you guys use to attract hogs? Just put some corn out or do you make a special concoction. Also how do you set up your bait (hanging bucket, in a hole, just dumped on the ground)

And how long does it take for them to find it?

Thanks

most people sour the corn first

red cream soda, kool-aid, etc all work
diesel also works really well
sour it in a bucket or tub, then dump it on the ground inside your trap

Just go spend a bunch of time and money trying to kill a deer. You'll be covered up with hogs.

But seriously, they'll eat anything. Go to a produce stand and see if they'll let you haul off all the spoiled produce. I know a guy who does this and also pours out milk and lets it spoil on corn. He kills a lot of hogs.

Mix corn with a 6pack of whatever cheap beer you can find. Close up corn and let it sour

Or go to the bread stores and get what they're throwing out.

We do two things.....First make a sour corn mash with a sack of corn and 40oz cheap arse beer in a 5 gallon bucket...It sours fairly quick....Take post hole diggers and dig a couple 30 inch deep holes and fill them with the corn and cover the top 8 inches with dirt. They will route it up the size of your living room QUICK.

Second not far from the corn we dig a couple shallow holes maybe a foot deep and pour diesel and burnt oil or cheap oil in them and all over the ground around it.....they like to wallow in it to keep the bugs off of them....they will make big waller holes and just dap it up with some fresh diesel and they will keep coming back.
