in Lake Pontchatrain? I would think that freshwater would hit the Lake late next week pushing the Trout back out towards the Rigolets or into Lake Borgne. What say ye OBers?

you better watch out, I asked about the salinity in lake borgne the next couple weeks due to flooding and was told "no one gives a frick about your fishing right now", it seems as if some feelings are hurt right now

I have to think the Speck fishing is going to be huge for the fall Speck run in the Lake Borgne marshes with this massive influx of freshwater. Miss Coast trout fishing should see some benefits too from this flood.
