Does anyone have a recommendation for quality HID kits? I'm putting it on a Ram. TIA

Whatever you get, please angle them properly unlike 85% of the dickheads that convert their 2001 F150

Get LED bulbs instead, aim them after installing.

Retrofit Source. Bapple did an install for my mom's car using one of their kits and they have been awesome.

The angle isn't the problem, it's HIDs installed in reflector housing and not projector shrouds.
I have a few sets from ddmtuning that has lasted a while now. You can't beat their lifetime warranty on some kits.

And his mom's car had factory halogen projectors so they don't have ridiculous amounts of glare. If you want proper bright headlights with a wide and safe beam, here's the thread to the retrofit on my Yukon:
Do Your Headlights Suck?
I'm actually about to do another retrofit on my work F150 using these headlights as a basis and swapping out the crappy halogen projector for a quality HID one:
Do not put HID bulbs into reflector housings. The LED drop-in kits aren't as bad in terms of glare but don't throw enough light and have too much foreground illumination.

Don't install an HID kit in a non-xenon housing. It's not designed for it. It will cause glare, and also can create a hazardous lighting situation by brightening the immediate foreground without increasing (or lowering) the brightness at distance. This can lead to decreased visibility, even though it is perceived as "brighter".

TRS has great kits. Pretty high quality, although I'm not a fan of their ballast setups. I actually have a Morimoto setup that I bought but never completed my Retrofit. I had to return one set (actually cut it up and send them pics) due to a faulty igniter design, and received their improved version. But what makes their site great is they sell Retrofit Kits that include the new projector, lens, ballasts, bulbs, etc. for a proper and correct retrofit. It really makes a huge difference with a proper projector installed and the correct high quality, non-purple, bulb.

I think Hylux is starting overtake Morimoto as the best aftermarket brand in HID lighting. They carry a similar warranty and have a similar lumen output while being a bit more reliable from the reviews I've read. Plus they make a Canbus version with a built-in error canceller and no need for a relay kit.

As promised:

Know that these will likely give you marginal improvement over a factory setup. I'm merely using them as a basis for my next retrofit and will likely replace the projector with something from Lightwerkz or The Retrofit Source.
