I'm looking into travel backpacks for a month-long honeymoon traveling through Europe. I'm looking for something that is comfortable, able to hold all the stuff I'll need, and MUST be able to fit as carry-on.

I've looked into Osprey and Tortuga.

Any suggestions?

Check out mystery ranch as well. I carried an ASAP around Austria and Czech and loved it.

The sweet pea is another great option if you want to blend in better.

I have an osprey exos 46 that I used for a similar trip. It's more of a lightweight pack, but it's quality and I made sure it fit me. Plush padding is great, but fit is key. I had no issues throughout the trip.

I mainly carried clothes and toiletries so it's different than packing heavy gear along with you. Also you don't really carry your stuff 24/7.

As far as quality, I really like osprey and they have a great warranty. Also, I'd look into exofficio for some clothing if you going to be between extended washings.

You may want to go to a store and try a few on with some weight in them. Pick the one that fits you the best and feels the most comfortable. Deuter fit me the best.

My one piece of advice is to find out what the max carry-on size is for most airlines and find a pack that meets those requirements.
