The Smith in the second pic is a model 10 2". It's a P&R gun so it predates 1983 but made after 1966 Probably a 10-5 or -6. It's in pretty good shape. I would think it's worth $450-500. A pawn shop is going to give you $200 for it. If you are really interested in selling it I would be interested. The second Smith looks like a Model 36 Nickel finish. It's looks about 80%. They are pretty common and probably worth somewhere around $350.

That little Beretta is purdy.

I think this was a creative way to open a Classified thread, without it actually being a classified thread.

Looks like a .25, I could probably do better with my fists, still.

Someone robbed him and his sigma was the only gun in the house left untouched.

How cruel..... :bang head: In addition, how insulting that even the thief didn't want the Sigma!

Got a couple BL's in me., but when a son talks about his dead father calling him a a-hole, well. I wouldn't buy crap from a a-hole no matter how cheap. Just the way I am. Young punk!

best you can do at a pawn shop is maybe 60% of retail value, will probably get offered 30-40%.

Pawn shops are for people who need money right damn now.

Thanks for the help. Really appreciate it.

For those who asked, the beretta is a 25. After checking, lsufan is spot on- the smiths are 10-5 and 36. Did you email me by the way?

Thanks again!

The best way to determine market value on a gun today is to review completed gunbroker auctions where the guns actually sold.

Books, gun store advice, etc. are all antiquated methods.
