I usually disregard anything a Vol fan says anyway. I just came out and made that info public knowledge. It doesn't matter if he knows shite about rifle scopes or not.

Meopta Meopta 4.5-14x50

I have this and love it. It's on my AR-10 in .308. Great glass, gathers a lot of light and it's crystal clear.

Nightforce SHV 3-10x42 or 4-14x50

This or some variation will be my next scope.

Joke between me and carson, but nightforce is overrated. Can buy as good or better glass much cheaper

I can never tell when to take you seriously or not so, no offense, most of the time I take anything you say with a grain of salt

Meopro 3.5-10x44 still on sale at optics planet for $340. Picked one up a while back, but have yet to test it out hunting. I took the boards word.

I need one for my tikka in 300 win mag. Trying to decide between the nightforce shv 3x10x42, the meopro 3.5x10x44, or the vortex viper hs 4x16x44.

Aw Bruh, i need something that can get out to 500-600 yards baw." No, no you don't. You're not taking, much less making, any animal shots at that distance in LA, so take this 2-10x42 and have a nice day.

I've hunted several places, including the one I'm on now, that have pipelines running through them. You could shoot as far as you wanted. Some guys have the nice scopes with the elevation thing build in and use it to make those far shots. And what if someone would want to go hunt Texas or something where a far shot is possible. When you buy these nice scopes you will have them for many years. Might as well pay a little extra for extra features.

Look at a v3 Leupold. Also, binoculars would be helpful. Don't use a scope as binos. You might be looking at a human.
