Help Needed

I'm currently involved with a recovery project for WW2 artifacts. We are having problems finding equipment that can scan 8-12 feet of compacted red clay. We've used an old school tech that indicates metal, but when we run a GPR unit over the site we come up with nothing. Any ideas wpo;d be helpful We're getting a little long in the tooth and would like to recover something before our expiration dates expire.
